Indigenous youth & educational opportunity
Honor identity.
Nurture possibility.
Every child carries individual talents and extraordinary potential. We want to help remove barriers to learning without asking young people to leave their identities behind.
Scholarships are a planned initiative. No foundation-funded awards are currently advertised, applications are not open, and no tribal partnerships are claimed.
Respect begins with listening
Built with communities.
Native American children and young adults are a meaningful priority, especially those facing poverty, family separation, historical injustice, or limited access to education.
Indigenous-specific programming must be developed through meaningful consultation and partnerships with tribal communities. Tribal nations are distinct; local priorities, knowledge, cultural traditions, and individual aspirations should guide the work.
Our Christian inspiration does not define a child’s spiritual identity. All faith activities are voluntary, and access to help or opportunity will not depend on religious participation.
An honest understanding of history
Identity and family matter.
Federal investigations document that the U.S. Indian boarding school system pursued forced assimilation, separated children from families, and suppressed Indigenous languages and cultures. These harms deserve accurate acknowledgment and respectful attention to communities’ own accounts.
That history reinforces our commitment to children’s dignity, cultural continuity, family connection where safe, and the right to be heard.
